  3. Texas- If Longhorns slip past Crimson Tide on Sept. 9th, playoff run is imminent in Austin.

  4. Southern California- Trojans look to build on Lincoln Riley’s first year coaching success.

  5. Alabama- QB question marks entering 2023 season hold back Tide from Top 4 pre-season ranking.

  6. LSU- 1B in the SEC West, LSU must travel to Tuscaloosa for annual showdown with Tide.

  7. Penn State- An undefeated Nittany Lion squad will travel to Ohio State on 10/21 for possible early season playoff implications on the line.

  8. FSU- September games against LSU and Clemson present massive opportunity for The Seminoles to move forward towards college football playoff.

  9. Ohio State- Replacing QB CJ Stroud from last year’s playoff squad will be more difficult than anticipated.

  10. Tennessee- Get used to seeing the Vols perennially in the Top 10 under Coach Josh Heupel.

  11. Clemson- Sophomore QB Cade Klubnik is a rising star in college football. Tigers could be a year away from championship run.

  12. Utah- Rose Bowl injury to all world QB Cam Rising keeps Utes out of 2023 Top Ten rankings.

  13. Washington- Pac 12 conference is loaded with QB talent and Michael Penix Jr. could be the best.

  14. Kansas State- Solid football team returns starting QB Will Howard to defend 2022 Big 12 championship.

  15. Oregon- Good to see QB Bo Nix return to college football this season for his 17th annual Heisman run.

  16. Notre Dame- Baffling loses to inferior teams plagued Irish record in 2022. That must stop for the sanity of this storied program.

  17. Arkansas- One two punch of QB KJ Jefferson and RB Rocket Sanders could be the best starting duo in the SEC.

  18. Tulane- Coach Willie Fritz has Green Wave football hotter than Bourbon Street on a summer Saturday night.

  19. North Carolina- QB Drake Maye could be the nation’s best.

  20. Oklahoma- Defense must improve from 2022 for Sooners to contend for Big 12 Title.
