It is difficult to comprehend that October is already upon us, and after next Saturday that we will be halfway finished with The College Football Season 2023. Moving into a new month, we will update our SEC Stock Report here at Radio Free Auburn. The first rankings, reviews and calls can be seen in the link below that were unveiled in early August.
Things have changed since then drastically in some cases, been on point on others and will continue to modify into November. Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee seems to be what we at Radio Free Auburn thought they would be through this junction of the SEC schedule. Florida and Miss State also labelled as SELL early have proven that as well. Disappointing calls on Arkansas, Texas A&M and Missouri have been off the mark and it is still unclear what Auburn and Ole Miss really are in 2023. Remember, The SEC Stock Report is for the current football season only, calls change once a month, and the last report for the year will be on future growth projections plus profits. And as always, past performance is not always indicative of future gains!

In the next few weeks on the national scene, the regular season will quickly turn from a double elimination tournament to a single one as teams position themselves for the coveted BCS Final Four Playoff. Previous one loss teams like LSU who went down this past Saturday are almost 100% now eliminated from championship contention. Other one loss teams like Notre Dame, Alabama, Texas A&M and Ole Miss for example are hanging onto hopes of a National Championship by a thread. Minus complete chaos, RFA calls no two loss teams in this year’s Final Four. There are too many undefeated teams heading into October for that to occur. If the rankings in the link above look odd to you, just wait for everything to sort itself out after Halloween.

Georgia (BUY/BUY) - Until they are knocked off, you better BUY.
Kentucky (BUY/BUY) - RFA is a believer in UK HC Mark Stoops.
Missouri (SELL/HOLD) - Things about to get real for undefeated Tigers.
Florida (SELL/SELL) - Bad football team with difficult schedule.
Tennessee (BUY/HOLD) - Brutal October schedule will test Vols.
South Carolina (HOLD/SELL) - QB Spencer Rattler can only do so much.
Vanderbilt (SELL/SELL) - Penny stock program deserves no love.
SEC WEST
Alabama (BUY/HOLD) - Next 3 weeks will determine the sanity of fans.
Texas A&M (SELL/HOLD) - Hosting Bama and at Tennessee is brutal.
LSU (BUY/BUY) - Bayou Bengals will be favored in every October game.
Ole Miss (HOLD/BUY) - Week off before trip to AU is huge.
Arkansas (BUY/SELL) - At Ole Miss at Bama to start October.
Auburn (BUY/HOLD) - IN HUGH WE STILL TRUST.
Miss State (SELL/SELL) - At Arky at AU to end the month.
